The presenters will share findings and recommendations from a phenomenological qualitative study which explore the experiences of college students who negotiated recreational legalization of cannabis. Findings suggest a general lack of knowledge regarding cannabis consumption and the legal framework surrounding it. There is a desire to practice safe consumption and receive a more meaningful education on the topic. Recommendations for practice include harm reduction approaches and increased efforts towards education.

This research seeks to understand the role and impact of interim senior student affairs leaders through the lens of organizational sensemaking. Leveraging in-depth interviews with 10-20 individuals, we seek to challenge constituents and readers to reimagine how organizational, management, and staffing decisions are made.
