The new Title IX guidelines have created an opportunity for campus communities to create an equitable environment among sexual misconduct policies. Stakeholders review how to support respondents and provide resources without infringing on survivors' resources. The presenter will introduce the role of a respondent advisor and take them through the respondent's journey in the formal grievance process. The presenter will introduce the stigma of the respondent label and educate professionals on respondent needs within the Title IX process.
