Abstract

What are the unique experiences and academic trajectories of students who identify as Black and first-generation to college? And how can higher education institutions best support them? This panel will address the imperative for identifying and supporting this population through an intersectional lens and Critical Race Theory. Presenters will offer strengths-based approaches and concrete programming ideas.
