Abstract
Institutions are increasingly realizing the benefits of using data and tailored supports to build intentional interventions to help students effectively navigate a challenging educational landscape. Identifying students most in need of services and building connections with students through holistic academic advising practices can help increase belonging and persistence while offering purposeful work for professionals. Presenters will discuss how to combine predictive analytics with holistic academic advising approaches to benefit first-generation student engagement and success.
