Abstract
This session highlights a program of research that aims to support student veterans' transition to nursing education, including strategies to facilitate progression and program completion. The presentation includes findings from several research studies conducted to inform faculty and staff of recommended student veteran support services at the individual and institutional levels. Findings from this program of research are transferable to other disciplines with students who are veterans and have implications for a wide variety of student support services.
