Abstract

Executive level change can happen suddenly and unexpectedly. What happens to those that are left behind? With experience as both an “on the ground” leader as well as an “interim executive”, the presenter will discuss what challenges and pitfalls can occur when an administrator is forced to rise suddenly into a leadership role, is passed over in favor of someone from outside the organization and/or finds themselves supervised by an interim.
