Abstract
Keynote Speaker: Julie Payne-Kirchmeier
Mid-level Professionals manage it all – operationalizing strategic goals, meeting supervisor expectations, nurturing critical relationships, collaborating cross-functionally, understanding what’s happening on the ground with staff and students, and constantly being pulled in multiple directions. While mid-level work is a constant balancing act, remaining laser-focused on continually developing your skills can help. No matter your end goal, this talk will highlight ways in which you can better understand expectations, generate ideas to help you master them, and tie these ideas back to your own development goals. Rooted in research, recent data, and the NASPA/ACPA competencies, participants will better understand the skills important to today’s successful mid-level professionals and leave with practical approaches to unlock their potential as mid-level pros.
