Abstract
In her presentation, Tanya Williams offers a belief that leadership education that does not include an exploration of and emphasis on the important role of actual authenticity, connection to social identity, liberation and social justice in effective leadership, might be doing a disservice to the very vision that we seek as educators. This thought-provoking keynote explores the hope of leadership education that explores and includes opportunities for building a liberatory consciousness, provides opportunities for transformative practice while highlighting the transformative power of inclusive and collectively conscious leadership practices.
