Abstract
This roundtable session will help practitioners and educators identify and challenge inequitable leadership practices. The presenters will summarize recent critical scholarship identifying common tools, practices, and messages that further oppression and inequities in leadership practice. By synthesizing the most recent scholarship about whiteness and oppression in leadership and sharing multiple real-world examples, presenters will collaborate with attendees to identify and disrupt oppressive practices. This session will facilitate meaningful reflection and discussion to cultivate shared wisdom that will help attendees revise existing tools, practices, and messages to support inclusive leadership practice in their contexts.
