Abstract
The presenters will share an overview of the first cycle of the Carnegie Elective Classification of Leadership for Public Purpose. They will also share application data to identify trends, successful strategies, and areas for improvement. By unpacking these learnings, the presenters aim to equip faculty, graduate students, and mid-level professionals with valuable insights to bolster their leadership development programs. Additionally, in preparation for the next review cycle (2026), presenters will provide a practical opportunity through case study/institutional reflection to simulate part of the elective classification review process.
