Abstract
The 2020-2025 National Leadership Education Research Agenda emphasizes the importance of centering social identities in leadership education. This session explores the imperative for leadership practitioners, not just researchers, to embrace this priority. Presenters with over 25 years of combined experience will share their insights with critical reflexivity and its impact on their work. The session includes an overview of the National Leadership Education Research Agenda, a discussion on the presenters’ personal experiences engaging in critical reflexivity in their practice, and interactive activities for participants to reflect on their social identities in leadership education. Aligned with the institute’s focus on inclusive leadership, this session encourages participants to enhance their practices through reflexivity. Join us to reflect, discuss, and build community with leadership educators dedicated to social justice.
