Abstract
Across the U.S., 84 bills targeting diversity, equity & inclusion programs have been introduced since 2023, according to the Chronicle of Higher Education. Among those, 12 have become law, and 13 are awaiting signatures from Governors. How do we continue to have conversations on inclusive communities in our current political climate? At LeaderShape, we believe that this is absolutely possible and necessary as we develop the leadership capacity of students. Join us as we share some concepts that have been helpful for our team as we have “refreshed” our programs to continue to engage in the conversations and learnings related to diversity, equity and inclusion.
