Leadership studies, leadership education, leadership learning, leadership development, leadership identity, leadership efficacy, leadership enactment… There are so many ways to analyze leadership. This session focuses on leadership training. Recent estimates assert that leadership development and training is a $366 billion global industry, with an estimated $166 billion spent within the United States (Westfall, 2019). However, not all leadership training is the same! Come engage with us as we consider and critique leadership training through the lens of socially just leadership education.
