Abstract
Through intentionally designing and assessing programs through a competency-based approach, leadership educators will prepare their students for the future workforce. During this session, the presenters will share how the Office of the Dean of Students at the University of Texas at Austin used Corey Seemiller’s research on leadership competency development to inform leadership program design and assessment. Participants will engage in competency development practices and will leave with tangible strategies that can be implemented within any context.
