Abstract

The presenter will give an overview of the Blackburn Institute, a cohort-based leadership development and civic engagement program celebrating its 30th year at the University of Alabama. The program’s bespoke audiences, initiatives, and resources have fostered a network of civic leaders serving Alabama from city councils and school boards to the U.S. Senate and beyond.
