Abstract
Shifts in higher education and student affairs practice are happening faster and in increasingly unpredictable ways. These complex conditions cannot be managed away; they require that we lead through them. During this workshop, participants will learn how to increase their effectiveness as a leader through the delivery of tangible tools and frameworks for creating a vision, developing trust, and navigating ambiguity situated in three themes of leadership: simplification, balancing your internal and external environment, and energy management.
