Abstract
The role of the AVP, or “Number Two,” is a unique and challenging position that is involved in day-to-day issues and the strategic direction of the division. This position can be one of considerable influence but can also come with its share of frustrations and difficulties. Participants will learn about the rewards and realities of the role, taking time to discern whether this might be an appropriate career path and the next steps to pursue this work. This session is designed for those aspiring to be an Assistant/Associate Vice President.
