Active Minds presents an interactive session for peer educators to enhance their mental health advocacy skills. Participants will learn about the social determinants of health and the socioecological model, how these models relate to mental health, and apply them to their own campus context. They’ll conduct a SWOT analysis of the climate around mental health at their institution, developing a specific advocacy goal. Participants will leave with a clear, actionable goal and the tools to advocate for mental health on their unique campuses.
