Suffolk University’s Career Ambassador Program is comprised of student leaders who advise their peers on career readiness and professional development. Career Ambassadors are champions of career education across campus and are a unique resource to students, faculty and staff alike. This session will review the creation, development and management of a peer-led career team, continued improvements, and feedback shared directly from the Career Ambassadors themselves.
Learning Outcomes
Understand the structure and development of Suffolk University's Career Ambassador Program to incorporate similar career peer-education programs at home institutions.
Identify appropriate training and role preparation techniques to best equip Career Ambassadors with the skills needed to serve as peer champions to deliver career-readiness content to their peers.
Gather strategies for collecting and incorporating student feedback to existing peer-led education programs to assess personal and professional development.
