As a field, we aim for work that is evidence-based and equity-focused; applying well-supported health behavior theories is essential. This session will include hands-on work relevant for all levels of learners, from those encountering these theories for the first time to seasoned professionals regrounding themselves. This highly-interactive and, daresay, fun session incorporates the Health Belief Model, Stages of Change Model, and Socio-Ecological Model and applies them to topics within each conference track and promises actionable takeaways.
