Abstract
In this session, presenters will highlight the creation of a weeklong summer bridge program for native/heritage Spanish speaking high school students. Taking place at an emerging HSI in the heart of Kansas, the program prepared students for college through cultural immersion, language enhancement, college credit opportunities, and pathways to success through their senior year of high school. Students also explored their heritage and built confidence to excel in college while remaining as and enhancing their authentic selves.
