Abstract
The presenters will share results from original, qualitative research investigating how newer senior student affairs leaders perceive their professional sense of belonging. Results demonstrate that senior-level leaders seek belonging for themselves and also feel responsibility to cultivate belonging for others through shared experience, values alignment, and professional development. Attendees will engage in discussion about belonging in the field and how we can leverage opportunities to build connection and support in senior-level positions.
