Abstract
In the wake of Texas SB 17, a new anti-DEI legislative challenge impacting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts at public institutions of higher education, presenters will evaluate the impact on student success programs at the University of Houston, the second most diverse campus in the nation. Presenters will present their story highlighting how the Vice President of Student Affairs and two Assistant Vice President's maneuvered this legislative landscape to ensure student success while remaining committed to fostering inclusivity.
