Abstract
I-LEAP uses intrusive and developmental methods to support first-generation, URM, low SES, and student athletes in Applied Health Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The presenters will discuss how these methods resulted in an almost 10% higher graduation rate. Presenters will review methods employed by staff and student stories showing how they increase retention and graduation for their target populations. Time is alloted for participants to think critically about how they can adapt practices to their own settings.
