Abstract
This presentation is an opportunity for participants to connect and discuss community-based interventions created by student-run and student-initiated advocacy efforts. This program will center dialogue and uplift Student-Initiated Programs (SIPS) as current student directors lead conversations rooted in and guided by the Student Promoted Access Center for Education and Service (SPACES) Literature Analysis. The presenters will examine the concerted efforts and history of student advocacy and student empowerment that established SIPs.
