Abstract
Internships across industries are critical for preparing students for careers. The number of students pursuing master's degrees in higher education that obtain student affairs internships remain low due to the few opportunities available prior to graduate school. Creating internships that emphasize preparation on both the professional and academic sides of the post-undergraduate experience is essential. Presenters will explore these internships, the advantages for higher education, and the impact on minoritized graduate students.
