Abstract
Intercultural development solely through culture assimilators or intercultural development assessments can limit our understanding of culture, cultural diversity, and the complexities of intercultural adaptation. In this interactive session, the presenter will discuss an intercultural development training framework that leverages theory-based learning and application to [1] conceptualize culture and cultural diversity, [2] understand complexities of intercultural adaptation, [3] foster an inclusive and equitable organizational culture, and [4] contextualize intercultural development assessments as assessment and development tools instead of teaching and learning frameworks.
