Abstract
The presenter will introduce practical tools for developing thriving, culturally-relevant leaders; and to foster students’ identity, capacity, and efficacy development. By approaching leadership education from an assets-based model, the presenter will introduce findings on students’ experiences that contributed to their leadership development. The presenter will guide practitioners on how to critically consider the five dimensions of the environment in our work, as well as foster a brave learning space, camaraderie, and growth mindset.
